Chunky Chocolate, Fruit and Nut Slice Recipe

This no-bake slice is quick, easy and deliciously rich.

70g butter
1/2 cup (125ml) condensed milk
250g Scotch Finger (shortbread style) biscuits
1/2 cup finely chopped dried apricots
1/2 cup white chocolate chips, or chopped white chocolate
1/2 cup raisins or sultanas
1/2 cup (43g) coconut
1/2 cup chopped macadamia nuts (or other nuts)
200g milk chocolate, melted

Line an 18cm x 28cm pan with baking paper.

Melt butter and condensed milk together in a small saucepan over low heat.

Finely crush 125g of the biscuits in a food processor or blender. Finely chop the remaining biscuits.

Combine biscuits (crushed and chopped), dried apricots, white chocolate, raisins or sultanas, coconut and nuts in a large bowl. Stir in butter and condensed milk mixture. Press into prepared pan.

Spread slice with melted milk chocolate. Refrigerate until firm then cut into squares to serve. Store an airtight container in the refrigerator.

Stumbled across this site via Googling for a fruit-and-nut slice recipe.

I've made a double batch of this twice now, and both times they've gone down magnificently with everyone! And it's SO easy!

Amazing website with easy everyday ingredients. Thanks!
